Considering NeoGraft? Or maybe the man in your life is considering NeoGraft? Come out and join us at our NeoGraft Round Table Event on Thursday, September 17th, at 6:30pm. Dr. Guenthner and our special guest Greg Rakestraw will be there to answer all your questions, and Greg will share his personal results and success story. Sports-talk mainstay Greg Rakestraw is now more than 7 months post-NeoGraft procedure with Dr. Guenthner, and both Greg and his wife are loving his NeoGraft results. Our Round Table Event will take place at Greg’s ‘other home,’ the 1070/107.5 THE FAN Studios in downtown Indianapolis. We’re offering exclusive event pricing, a solid NeoGraft education, and a unique venue! Check out Greg’s blog below discussing the event and his procedure:
Questions. You’ll have your shot to ask me (Greg) as many of those as possible at our meet and greet event at the 1070 The Fan studios on September 17th when I talk about all things NeoGraft that night. I’ll share with you here some of the most common ones I get on a regular basis here:
Was it painful? There was some discomfort the day of, and maybe just a bit the day after. After that, there was little to none. I had pain medication prescribed for several days after the fact, but didn’t feel it necessary to take any following the morning after the procedure.
What sort of ‘care’ is required after the fact? Not as much as you’d think. For the first six months after the operation, I would go in for a weekly light therapy treatment. Now, I go in on an every-other week voluntary basis. There’s a prescription that I take to help continue to stimulate hair growth. I had a special method of washing my hair for the first two weeks after the fact. That’s it. Now nearly 8 months removed from changing my hairline, my hair care is the same as any other typical middle-aged guy. Which means, not as much as I probably should, but enough to get by.
Would you do it again? Absolutely. I just wish I had done this sooner. I just got done with my family’s first move in nearly 12 years. And in that process, I saw a lot of pictures of myself over the last few years. I realized that my hairline had been in much worse shape than what my eyes told me in the mirror. The less hair you have to ‘replace’ is the better for this procedure. So if you’re thinking about this at all, do this sooner rather than later.
There’s the big three questions, I hope you’ve got more for me on Sept. 17th. I’ll see you there.
