The Indiana Clinical Trials Center (ICTC) was founded in 2006 by Scott Guenthner, MD, as an extension of his dermatology practice, The Dermatology Center of Indiana. In 2008, Kimmie Eads joined the team as a Study Coordinator and later advanced her clinical expertise by becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She now serves as the Director of Clinical Research and Operations and acts as the primary Sub-Investigator for all trials. In 2020, Dr. Mitchell Smith came on board as Principal Investigator for allergy and asthma-related studies, expanding the scope of conditions ICTC is able to support.

Since its inception, ICTC has successfully completed over 280 clinical trials and contributed to the FDA approval of more than 50 marketed therapies, including topicals, systemics, and biologics. The center conducts Phase I–IV trials across a diverse range of therapeutic areas, including dermatology, immunology, and obesity.
