Meet Kimberly M. Eads, FNP-BC, CCRP, Director of Clinical Research

Kimmie Eads has been with The Indiana Clinical Trials Center since September 2008. She earned her Certified Clinical Research Professional certification from SOCRA in 2011, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University, and her master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in November 2014. As Director of Research and Operations, Kimmie oversees all aspects of clinical trials for both The Indiana Clinical Trials Center in Plainfield, Indiana, and Optima Research in Boardman, Ohio.
Kimmie is passionate about helping patients who have exhausted other options by connecting them with cutting-edge treatments, including therapies that may be among the first of their kind available. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to share knowledge with both the practice team and patients, helping them better understand their options, the purpose of each treatment, and how those treatments may affect them. She especially enjoys seeing the meaningful transformations patients experience during their time at the site.
A lifelong Indiana resident, Kimmie has always lived within the same 15-minute radius. She and her husband, Steve, have three children, three grandchildren, and a zoo full of pets. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling around the country, and riding motorcycles with her husband.
