Meet Dr. Mo Aouthmany, MD – Provider Emeritus

Dr. Mo Aouthmany is a board certified dermatologist that specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, obtaining both a Bachelor in Science in Microbiology (B.S.) and Master in Health Services Administration (M.H.S.A.). He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the Northeast Ohio Medical University, graduating with the prestigious Award for Excellence in Dermatology and first place at the Ohio Dermatological Association.

Dr. Mo Aouthmany completed his internship and dermatology training at Indiana University, where he served as Chief Resident. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and presented his work at national conferences. Additionally, he published apps that teach children about the dangers of melanoma and another that educates about the medications used in dermatology.

Dr. Mo Aouthmany’s practice is primarily focused on medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and American Academy of Dermatology. Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys lifting, running. He loves college football and never misses a University of Michigan game. He is frequently seen with his family and friends in his free time eating at various culinary establishments.
