Acne – Moderate to Severe

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is recruiting volunteers for a research study on moderate to severe acne.  To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 9 years of age
• Have at least 20 whiteheads and/or blackheads plus 20 active pimples on your face
• Be willing to travel to our Plainfield location 6 times over a 4-month period

Actinic Keratosis

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is recruiting volunteers for a study dedicated to actinic keratosis. Qualified participants must:

• Be 18 or older

• Have 4 or more AK lesions on the torso or extremities

• Be willing to participate in a red light treatment

Alopecia Areata

If you have been diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, you may qualify for a hair loss study.  Qualifications include:

• Ages 18-70
• Diagnosis of Alopecia Areata for at least 1 year
• 30-80% Hair Loss (patchy, not thinning)

Patients will be required to attend 7 visits at our Plainfield office over a 13-week period and will be paid $100/visit for time and travel.

Asthma – Mild

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is currently researching a medication for asthma. To be included in the study you must:

• Be 18 or older and diagnosed with asthma
• Use your inhaler at least twice a week
• Have filled a prescription for your inhaler at least 2 times in the last 12 months

Chronic Hives in Adults

• Are 18 or older
• Have had hives for at least 6 months
• Get hives most days each week for the last 6 weeks or more

Chronic Inducible Urticaria (Hives)

If you suffer from hives, you may qualify for a clinical trial studying an investigational treatment.  Patients must be 18 or older and have one of the following conditions:

• Cold Urticaria
• Cholinergic (exercise induced) Urticaria
• Dermatographism (raised welts when scratched)

This study provides an oral medication taken twice a day for up to three years.  Compensation for time and travel available.

Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is looking for patients with chronic hives to participate in a clinical study. Qualifications include:

• Age 18-80
• History of chronic spontaneous urticaria for at least 6 months
• Have active hives most days within the last 6 weeks

Participants will be paid $100/visit and will need to attend 5 visits at our Plainfield location.

Eczema – Mild to Moderate

ICTC is enrolling patients in a trial for eczema. Qualifications include:

• Age 12 and older

• Have had eczema for at least 1 year

Patients will attend 5 visits at our Plainfield location and will receive a stipend of $75/visit for time and travel.

Eczema – Moderate to Severe

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is recruiting patients for a moderate to severe eczema study. Qualifications include:

• Age 18-60
• Eczema for at least 1 year
• 10% body surface coverage (enough to cover 2 sheets of printer paper)

Hidradenitis Suppurativa – Moderate to Severe

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is looking for volunteers to participate in a research study for hidradenitis suppurativa. Qualified participants must:

• Be between 18-80 years old

• Have HS for at least 6 months

• Have at least 6 active lesions at this time

Participants will attend 20 visits over a 56 week period of time and will receive up to $1600 for time and travel.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS)

We are currently recruiting volunteers for a clinical research study investigating a treatment for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).  To qualify, you must:

• Be 18 or older
• Have HS for at least 6 months
• Previously tried an oral antibiotic for this condition
• Have at least 6 active lesions at this time

Patients will be paid a $74 stipend at each visit for a maximum of $1,480 for the completed study and must attend 20 visits over a 56-week period of time.

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) – Moderate to Severe

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is recruiting volunteers for a research study on moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).  To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have at least 8 HS lesions
• Have previously tried an oral antibiotic that did not work for your condition

Moderate-Severe Psoriasis

We are currently researching a potential treatment for Psoriasis. Qualifications for this study include:

• Ages 18+
• Have had psoriasis for at least 6 months
• Psoriasis covering at least 10% of your body (1% = 1 full handprint)

You will be required to attend 24 visits over a 3-year period to our Plainfield location.

Motion Sickness

If you suffer from Motion Sickness, you may benefit from participating in this clinical trial.  Qualifications include:

• Ages 18-75
• Symptoms of motion sickness
• BMI of 18-40

There are just 5 visits to our Plainfield office over a 12-month period.  Study provides stipends up to $1,000 for completion.

Palmoplantar and Genital Psoriasis

We are currently recruiting volunteers for a clinical research study investigating a treatment for psoriasis with palm, sole, or genital involvement.  To qualify, you must:

• Be 18 or older
• Have psoriasis for at least 6 months
• Have psoriasis on the palms, soles, or genitals
• Previously tried a topical treatment for this condition

Patients will be paid a $72 stipend at each visit for a maximum of $1,080 for the completed study and must attend 15 visits over a 56-week period of time.

Prurigo Nodularis

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is recruiting volunteers for a research study on prurigo nodularis. To qualify, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have at least 20 PN lesions
• Previously tried a topical treatment that did not work

Psoriasis – Moderate to Severe

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center is enrolling subjects in a study for psoriasis in Plainfiled. Qualifications include:

• Age 18 or older

• Have psoriasis covering at least 10% of your body (enough to cover 2 sheets of paper)

Psoriasis – Moderate to Severe with Obesity

Optima Research is looking for participants in a psoriasis study. Qualified participants must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have psoriasis on at least 10% of the body
• Have a BMI of at least 27
• Have no prior use of insulin, Taltz, Ozempic/Wegovy, or Mounjaro

Patients who enroll in the study will receive a potential psoriasis treatment, access to a dietician, and will be compensated for time and travel.

Psoriasis – Scalp and/or Genitals

We are currently researching a potential treatment for Psoriasis on the scalp and/or genitals. Qualifications for this study include:

• Ages 18 and older

• Had psoriasis for at least 6 months

• Have genital psoriasis

This study requires 7 visits to our Plainfield office over a 52-week period and will be provided $75/visit to cover their time and travel expenses.

Psoriasis + Obesity

ICTC is studying the correlation between psoriasis and obesity. Participants must:

• Have moderate-severe psoriasis with at least 10% body surface coverage (enough to cover 2 sheets of paper)

• A BMI of >27 (BMI calculator)

• No history of insulin use

• No previous use of Taltz or Mounjaro

Warts

If you have a child who is struggling with warts, they may qualify for a study researching an investigational treatment.  Requirements include:

• Ages 12-17
• Between 1-8 warts (excluding palms and soles)
• Have had them for at least 4 weeks but less than 2 years

This study requires 12 visits to our Plainfield office and 3 phone calls over a 20-week timeframe.  Patients are compensated for their time – $50/visit, $25/phone call – for a total of up to $975 for the completed study.
