Meet Shayna Gordon, MD

Dr. Shayna L. Gordon grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where she obtained a B.A. in Biology. Dr. Gordon earned her medical degree from Indiana University and completed her internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She completed her dermatology residency at Washington University School of Medicine where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed a combined Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Gordon joined The Dermatology Center of Indiana in the summer of 2017.

Her areas of expertise include Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancers, cutaneous oncology, and cosmetic dermatology. Her cosmetic practice includes Botox, aesthetic injectables and fillers.

Dr. Gordon is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor’s Society. Dr. Gordon was recognized as a Top Doctor by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine in 2023.

Dr. Gordon’s publications include research papers, book chapters, scientific abstracts, and clinical reviews.

Outside of her medical career, Dr. Gordon is happily married and in her free time enjoys running and painting. She is happy to return to Indianapolis and once again call Indiana home.
